New Deli Plans Opening on Turnham Green Terrace

The large site on Turnham Green Terrace formerly occupied by Maison Blanc and Patisserie Valerie is set to become an up-market delicatessen.
An application has been submitted by Delilaurent39 Limited in respect of 26-28 Turnham Green Terrace for changes at this address.
This company operates branches of Laurents Deli in St. John’s Wood and Paddington which describe themselves as local high-end artisan delicatessens providing quality produce from France and Italy.
On the company’s Facebook page founder Xavier Laurent says, “French food has always been a passion since my teenage years, that were spent in the South West of France near Bordeaux.
“I came to appreciate fresh local produce, developed cooking skills using the best of ingredients from the area and developed an interest in wine during my studies at the Wine School of Monbazillac.
“With my Sicilian wife, I explored various foods from Sicily and Italy and it seemed only natural to one day open a business where I could share my love and experience of French and Italian food with others.
“I want you to love this place. I put my heart and soul into the deli and I think it shows”
The designs submitted for the deli with the application suggest that food will not be consumed on the premises but the outdoor tables will be retained.
We contacted Laurent Deli for more details about its planned opening but have yet to receive a response.
