Following a successful launch last autumn, The Pavilion – School Kitchen in Chiswick is entering spring with refined menus, lively events, and a warm welcome for the local community.

Previously known as School Kitchen Chiswick, the venue has updated its name to The Pavilion – School Kitchen, a nod to its heritage setting in the Latymer Sports Grounds. The change reflects a natural evolution, while the project’s community mission remains at its core: a share of all revenue continues to support education and sports projects at local schools including Cavendish Primary School and Chiswick School.

As part of a recent refresh, The Pavilion now offers two distinct menus:
– A seasonal Modern European restaurant menu that changes four times a year
– A British and global bar menu, featuring comforting classics such as burgers, fish pie, tacos, and small plates

Both menus were on full display at a recent tasting event, which saw around 70 guests enjoy a vibrant evening of canapés and cocktails, providing a first taste of the new food and drink offering. A selection of expertly crafted cocktails is now available at the bar, with a weekday Happy Hour running from 6pm to 8pm.

The Pavilion has also quickly become a popular venue for private events, recently hosting birthday celebrations and wedding anniversaries, with its first wedding booked for this summer. The beautifully refurbished main room, large terrace, and expansive beer garden offer an ideal backdrop for memorable gatherings of all kinds.

Live music continues to play a big part in the venue’s identity. In April, The Pavilion welcomed the legendary Ealing Club for a blues-filled evening, and the next event in partnership with The Crawdaddy Club will see The Dave Kelly Band take to the stage on Friday 12th April.

With spring weather arriving, The Pavilion hosted its first barbecue of the year in the beer garden last weekend—and there’s plenty more to come. Upcoming highlights include a Real Ale Tasting Event on Saturday 26th April, featuring a guided tour of beers from Five Points Brewery.

The Pavilion opening hours are Monday to Friday 6pm-11pm, Saturday 12.30pm-11pm, and Sunday 11am-10.30pm. Mondays and Tuesdays are bar only.
