Christmas Lights Official 'Switch On' Is 24 November

Young and old invited to the ceremony outside the George IV

The annual Christmas Lights switch on will take place at on Thursday 24th November 2016. Celebrations start at 5 pm and the lights will be switched on at around 6pm.

There will be the usual carol singing, and live music outside the George IV pub, and a special appearance from Fuller's dray horses.

Councillor Steve Curran, Leader of Hounslow Council said: “Christmas is a wonderful time of year and all the town centres in the borough will be very colourful and will have a magical atmosphere.

“There are lots of events taking place and we hope everyone gets the chance to enjoy them as they prepare for Christmas.”
