Villagio will move into former La Tasca premises
Chiswick is to get another Italian restaurant. Villagio which has a nearby restaurant and deli in Hammersmith, is to open at the High Road premises recently vacated by La Tasca.
The Villagio website says that its newest outlet will open very soon at 404-406 Chiswick High Road. There are also branches in Andover, Chislehurst, Basildon, and Berkhamsted. The Hammersmith branch also has a sister café and delicatessen named Gastronomia.
The website says that all Villagio restaurants pride themselves in serving freshly prepared, classic Italian food in an authentic, relaxed atmosphere. The word means ' village' in Italian.
"Our menu covers all the traditional favourites and caters for the whole family. The restaurant is a popular venue for private events with some or all of it often hosting birthday parties and business lunches."
The restaurant menu includes pizza, pasta, risotto, meat and fish dishes, and a wide selection of wines. Children are welcome with a Kids Menu for the under 10s priced at £5.75 for three courses and a drink and there are two-course lunch offers.
Pasta dishes are priced at around £8 - £10 with pizzas ranging from £6.95 for a Margharita, and £9.50 for Pepperoni pizza. Wine prices range from £13.95 to £23.50.
