Recycling Was Theme Of Belmont Summer Fair

The children made Splodge the cow from plastic milk bottles

The children of Belmont Primary School used 96 milk bottles to make a plastic cow which was a big attraction at their annual Summer Fair. Splodge the cow was chosen to embody the theme of recycling and was a major hit with everyone.

The children also made hilarious hats and models out of recycled materials – with several fantastic creations.

The organisers of Belmont Summer Fair would like to say a very big thank you to everyone who supported them.

They said: "All in all, this was one day the school, the children and parents will not forget – thanks for coming and making this day even more special. We hope you had a fantastic time and look forward to seeing you all again next year.
