Grotto at Fantastic Hairdresser open all week

Actress Rula Lenska was on hand to welcome Santa to his new Chiswick grotto at the Fantastic Hairdresser Salon premises on the High Road.

The Grotto will be open from December 8-16th, from 1-5pm every day. All proceeds are going to local charity, the Tommy Hollis Fund.

You can turn up or book a time slot by calling 0208 8271659. The cost is £6 per child (and £3 per extra child).

Every child will get a present and there's a goodybag for Mummy.

The Grotto, which is next door to the salon, has been decked out with fairy lights and tinsel, and the Old Cinema have contributed some vintage toys and artefacts.

Rula Lenska, who is celebrating her first Christmas as a grandmother, said she hoped people would come out and support the Tommy Hollis Fund and she wished the family the very best for Christmas.

Little Tommy Hollis died in February 2010, following injuries sustained when a lamp post fell on him as he lay sleeping in his buggy while waiting to cross the road outside Chiswick Town Hall.

His parents set up the Fund to help underprivileged, sick and orphaned children.
