TV company Seeks Chiswick Street Party

Your Jubilee party could end up on television

Are you planning a street party in Chiswick to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee?

If so, a London television company would like to hear from you.

The company, Love Productions, (The Great British Bake-Off, Rich and Homeless, and Make Bradford British) is on the hunt for a street in and around the Chiswick area planning to throw a Diamond Jubilee Street Party in June.

The programme will form the basis of a social history documentary which will explore the changing face of Britain since the 1950s.

The programme makers say they want to dig deep into the past to experience what home, family and community life was really like at that moment in history.

“We want to hear from residents who intend to throw a great celebratory party, from those who have lived in the same street all their life and also from those who even remember celebrating the Queen’s Coronation!”
