Pensions Alone At Christmas Party

More than forty people gathered for summer fun

On Saturday 14th July, Pensioners Alone At Christmas (Chiswick Group) successfully held their Summer Party at the Goldsmiths Arms Pub, Acton.

The Summer Party was enjoyed by over 40 people, and the Goldsmiths Arms once again did a tremendous job of hosting the party and providing all the food and drink.

Mary Macleod, MP for Chiswick, Brentford, Isleworth, Osterley and Hounslow presented  Pauline Hart with the  Personal Achievement Award (sponsored by the Shepherd’s Bush Housing Group) for her work with the elderly in Chiswick.

Local councillors John Todd and Gerald McGregor also attended the party to offer Pauline their congratulations.

We would like to say a special thank you to all of the guests, volunteers and sponsors for the hard work and donations without which, the party would not be able to take place.

Pensioners Alone At Christmas (Chiswick Group) is looking forward to celebrating their 28th Christmas Day Party, to be held in December 2012.
