How Should I Pray?

A series of meditations on the topic of prayer during Lent

The Chiswick Catholic Church of Our Lady of Grace & St Edward is hosting a series of evenings during Lent to explore new ways to pray and speak to God. The events take place every Tuesday during Lent, and all are welcome, whether you’re Catholic or not.

Using music, Scripture, art and poetry, and led by experts in their field, the sessions will offer a fresh perspective on prayer and meditation to help those who sometimes wonder, how should I pray?

Canon Anthony Dwyer of Our Lady of Grace and St Edward said: "Prayer is a fundamental part of faith but in our busy, ‘always on’ society it is often something people struggle with: How should I pray? Am I doing it right? Can God hear me? Our speakers will guide us using lectures, meditation and practical advice, then return us to our journey refreshed with useful ideas and tools to develop our own private prayer."

Each event takes place in Our Lady of Grace & St. Edward Church, 247 Chiswick High Road, from 7.30pm-8.30pm.
