New arrivals to the High Road and Turnham Green Terrace
Chiswick is to have two new furniture shops, as the Italian interiors store Calligaris opens its biggest London showroom this month, and a short distance away, Decorexi, which specialises in mirrored furniture is also set to open shortly.
A new greengrocers, Natoora, specialising in imported French and Italian products, is putting the finishing touches on its new shop (formerly Andreas fruit and veg) in Turnham Green Terrace.
Decorexi is moving into the former premises of the Chiswick Curtain Shop and is an upmarket furniture, gift ware and accessories store selling mirrored furniture, jewellery, mirrors, lamps, chandeliers and upholstery.The head office is based in Islington.
The owners are hoping to open their new Chiswick store in the week commencing 20th May but their website www.decorexi.co.uk will have up to date details. They say their range is ideal for either a country home or a city pad and ranges from animal print furniture to opulent gold gilt Regency chairs.
Italian contemporary store Calligaris, which is celebrating its 90th anniversary ,is due to open its largest London showroom boasting over 4,300 square feet, on 104-108 Chiswick High Road, (close to the junction with Chiswick Lane). The company, which has stores in Teddington and Stanmore, specialises in contemporary Italian furniture, lighting and accessories and will open on 23rd May.
The company says it will display "an impressive selection of stylish and design-led storage solutions, tables, chairs and beautiful accessories, bringing the sophistication of modern Italy to the British home.

Natoora was founded in 2001 in Paris with a network of 120 French farmers delivering fresh food to Paris and later the whole of France. In 2004, the concept was brought across the Channel, first to London and then elsewhere in the UK. In 2007, Natoora merged with Portobello Food Company, suppliers of Italian food to homes in London and around the UK, to combine Natoora 's French history and Portobello Food 's Italian product range.
