Macmillan fundraising concert showcasing love songs and duets
To kick off 2020, Macmillan Chiswick is presenting Take Two, an evening of opera classics and jazz piano that will raise vital funds for local cancer support.
The concert will be held at the beautiful St Nicholas Church by the river in Chiswick on Thursday 23 January, and will showcase classic love songs and duets performed by four world-class musicians.
William Morgan is an ENO Harewood artist has performed extensively with English National Opera and made his solo debut at the Proms this year.
Lucy Hall is a talented soprano whose recent engagements also include ENO, The Royal Opera and Glyndebourne.
William and Lucy will be accompanied by accomplished classical pianist Chris Pocock, who will also play alongside jazz pianist, Mark Wallace. A teacher at Latymer Upper School, Mark has performed as a singer, conductor and organist in many of England’s great cathedrals and has recently recorded an album with Digby Fairweather and singer Wendy Nieper.
Tickets are £25 and include a welcome drink and canapés, served from 7pm. The concert will start at 7.30.
