Appetite For Chiswick Lunch Break Grows

Networking event at The Lamb increasing in popularity

The new lunchtime networking event at the Lamb has whetted the appetites of local business people.

Since its launch in February, more than 100 people have registered their interest in joining the Chiswick Lunch Break group. The group and popularity has grown so quickly that the Lamb had to move the event into their larger dining room.

The Chiswick Lunch Break was set up by Chiswick business owners Jeannie Shapiro and Julie Mitchell to provide a forum to meet and share expertise in a relaxed, informal setting – with no hard sells or fees. It has attracted people from a wide range of backgrounds and professions.

“Great idea – very relaxed and informal – with no pressure to buy or sell”, “Good venue and well organised. I'd definitely recommend coming along” and “Met plenty of nice interesting people. Also got some potential business from a contact made” were just some of the positive comments from those attending.

The next meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 20 between 12.30 and 2pm. Lunch costs £8 and includes a drink – pay upon arrival. Anyone interested in joining can do so online.
