Keep fit at the classes with Age Concern

Age Concern is offering a new activity - linedancing. The classes start on 3 February, on Mondays 10.30 -11.30 am, at £5 per session.

Age Concern's remit is to help older people in Chiswick and Brentford by running a Friendship Club to provide companionship and combat loneliness.

They offer a range of activities and events. These include line dancing, yoga, keep fit, crafts, bingo and bric a brac sessions. the premises are open on Mondays and Thursdays and offer sandwiches and drinks at low prices.

They also arrange occasional talks and outings to places of interest and our Members are able to use the services of a Chiropodist. Membership costs just £7 per year.

Some activities, including line dancing and yoga, are open to non-members. If someone is interested in becoming a Member or joining a session, the best first step is to phone 020 8742 7007 on Mondays or Thursdays between 10:00am and 3:30pm.

The benefits of line dancing are; It is easy to learn and fun to do. Line dancing helps to maintain and improve mobility and participants will meet other like-minded people.
