Let's Dance Event To Raise Money For Cancer Charity

Proceeds will go towards Maggie's Centre

A chance to dance to the best music from the 60s, 70s and 80s and raise money for the Maggie’s Centre at Charing Cross Hospital.

Organised by west London residents, Let’s Dance! was devised as a ‘thank you’ to the Maggie’s Centre for the support they give to those affected by cancer.

Acton resident, Jill Sinclair, one of the organisers, says ‘When I was recovering from surgery for ovarian cancer the people at the Maggie’s Centre gave me back my confidence and my sense of humour after what had been a very dark time. Dancing is one of life’s great joys, especially to the music of the 60s, 70s and 80s when people went dancing virtually every weekend. It was how we kept fit!’

Let’s Dance! is on Saturday 16th July at
George IV pub, 185 Chiswick High Road, W4 from 7.30 to 11.30pm.

Tickets are £10 in advance with a limited number of tickets available for £12 on the night.
