Lifestyle and fashion store to occupy former Whittards site

The fashion and lifestyle store, Joy, is to open in Chiswick next month.

The store will move into the site recently vacated by Whittards on the Chiswick High Road.

The independent retailer, which is 70% fashion and 30% gifts and cards, describes itself as a "one stop shop."

A spokeswoman said;

“We are really looking forward to opening in Chiswick. We feel our brand will really fit into the area and it’s a great site.”

The shop is expected to open in the first week of October.

Joy, which has branches throughout the UK, also has shops in Soho and Covent Garden, as well as Fulham, Clapham, and Richmond.

A branch of Joy which was on King Street, Hammersmith, closed some time ago.
