Stroke support charity will benefit from sales of artwork
Local artist Joanna Brendon will hold an Open Studio at 59, Emlyn Road on December 1st and 2nd from 11-6 pm. There is a private viewing on Friday.
Artists participating also include Daniel Smith, Bobbie Kociejowski, and Annette O'Sullivan.
There will be paintings, handwoven textiles, jewellery and ceramics on display. Joanna Brendon will include some originalsmall artworks, Christmas cards and postcards for the benefit of the InterAct Reading Service. (www.interactreading.org) which supports stroke recovery.
InterAct readers are professional actors who go into hospitals and stroke clubs, reading live to people living with stroke. The readings comfort, amuse or stimulate, and are now recognised as a valuable element in recovery from stroke. The charity was set up in Chiswick.
