James McAvoy Films In Chiswick
A lucky reader got talking to him outside the Town Hall
Film star James Mc Avoy was spotted filming in Chiswick by one of our readers last week.
Lorraine New who was lucky enough to have her photograph taken with the star of Atonement, and the Last King of Scotland, described him as “ a very nice young man”.
Lorraine said he told her he was filming his latest movie ‘ Filth’ and it would be released next September.
The film is written by Irvine Walsh (Trainspotting) and tells the story of a depraved Edinburgh policeman who gets involved in all sorts of activities, including cross-dressing.
In one recent interview, McAvoy, said Filth would be the “ biggest risk of his career” but he was keen to take on it on as a "massive challenge".
The film also stars Alan Cumming and Jamie Bell.
The Scottish-born actor is married to actress Anne Marie Duff and they have a young son Brendan.
