Hockey Olympians In Action In Chiswick

Investec World League Semi finals start this weekend

The Investec Women’s Hockey World League Semi-Finals take place on 22-30 June at the University of Westminster’s Quintin Hogg Memorial Sports Ground in Chiswick.

The event will be a chance to re-live the atmosphere of London 2012 as the England women’s hockey team take on the best sides in the world .

The event is based at the University of Westminster’s Quintin Hogg Memorial Sports Group, Hartington Road and it will be the first chance to watch and support Olympic heroines since Great Britain’s momentous bronze medal last year. There may be some traffic congestion along Hartington Road and parking restrictions will be in force.

Competition will be fierce, with only the top four teams qualifying for the World Cup in 2014 and it’s a chance to see another fast-paced, adrenaline-fuelled tournament. It's also an ideal family day out; along with all the hockey action, there will be an England Hockey Fun Zone where you can test out your own skills and meet mascots Jasper and Jess. Prices start from £5.00 for juniors, £15 for adults and £30 for a family ticket.
