Soho House has announced that it will be staging next years 'House Festival' at Marble Hill House in Richmond, having been based at Chiswick House grounds for the past five years. The Festival will take place on July 4th 2013.

The Festival had raised funds for the Chiswick House & Gardens Trust restoration project, as well as raising money for the War Child charity.

Soho House said the Festival would continue to support English Heritage.

"However, after making a substantial contribution to Chiswick House & Gardens and assisting their restoration project, which is now complete, we have decided to move the Festival and lend our support to another English Heritage property, Marble Hill House in Richmond, which is in need of funding. In 2013, the Festival will also be expanding its relationship with War Child, selecting the charity as one of our principal beneficiaries for the second year running."

War Child provide life-changing support to vulnerable children whose families, communities and schools have been torn apart by war. They give medical care, create safe havens where children can escape the dangers of life on the streets and rebuild schools.

Soho House said the look and feel of the Festival will be the same as previous years – it will still be "the ultimate summer garden party" with even more entertainment, food and drink to enjoy.

Last year's 'House Festival' held in Chiswick House Gardens attracted a host of celebrities for its sell-out event on Thursday, July 5th.

The event is hugely popular and the tickets, which cost almost £200 sell out very quickly.

A range of stars from the sporting, media and music world attended.

These included Holly Willoughby, Laurence Dallaglio, Gary Lineker, Angus Deayton, Tina Hobley, Keith Lemon, Jo Wiley, Kirsty Young, Jamie and Louise Redknapp, Jack Whitehall, Andrew Flintoff, Barry McGuigan, Dermot Murnaghan and Kirstie Allsop. Chiswick-based singer Sophie Ellis-Bextor was also there as well as other W4 residents such as James May, Ant and Dec, Tim Lovejoy and Al Murray.

Contributions raised from The House Festival totalled £325,000 towards the restoration of the gardens and their ongoing upkeep.
