Chiswick’s creative community will gather once again this autumn as the W4 Art & Design Winter Fair returns for its ninth year, bringing together thirty-nine local artists and makers for a two-day celebration of painting, photography, ceramics, jewellery, sculpture, textiles and more.

The fair takes place on Friday 20 and Saturday 21 November at Christ Church, Acton Green, offering visitors the chance to browse and buy original work directly from the artists at studio prices.

Founded in 2018, the Winter Fair, which is an informal collaboration of local artists, craftspeople and designers, has become a fixture of Chiswick’s cultural calendar. Whether searching for a distinctive winter gift or a new piece for the home, visitors can explore work from emerging and established artists while meeting the makers behind it.

The fair opens on Friday evening from 6pm to 9pm, with fizz and live jazz setting the tone for a sociable start to the weekend. On Saturday, doors open from 10.30am to 6pm, giving plenty of time to discover the breadth of local creativity on display. Entry is free throughout.

Christ Church, formerly St Alban’s, is on South Parade, (W4 5LG), and organisers Roz and Annabel encourage anyone curious about local art to drop in.
