River Dipping with the Thames Explorer Trust

Discover the animal life in and around the river

The Thames Explorer Trust has organised an educational event to help you learn more about the environment around the river.

Beginning with a bird spotting walk along the Thames Path from Chiswick Pier to Chiswick Eyot, they will go on to the foreshore where participants can take part in river dipping using nets and spotter sheets to catch and identify river creatures such as crabs, shrimps and eels.
