Marguerite -A Musical At The Tabard

A love story set in Nazi-occupied Paris

The Tabard Theatre presents the premiere of the revised version of Marguerite, a musical set in Nazi occupied Paris.

Originally premiered in 2008 at the Theatre Royal Haymarket, Marguerite retells Alexandre Dumas' romantic novel "La Dame aux Camelias", with soaring melodies composed by triple Oscar winner Michel Legrand (Umbrellas of Cherbourg, The Thomas Crown Affair) and book by Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schönberg (Les Misérables, Miss Saigon).

This production features a revised book by Alain Boublil and director Guy Unsworth. It also features a reworked seven-piece orchestration as well as new Michel Legrand songs and Alain Boublil has been personally involved in this version at the Tabard Theatre.
