At St Nicholas Church
A Conversational Evensong will be held at St. Nicholas, Chiswick with His Eminence Cardinal Cormac Murphy-O'Connor, Archbishop Emeritus of Westminster. Sunday 13th April at 6.00pm (Palm Sunday).
Cardinal Murphy-O’Connor will share his Christian journey that led him to become head of the Catholic Church in England and Wales and will look at the challenges that face all Christians in our world today.
He will share his experiences of helping to choose a Pope in Conclave and reflect on the ecumenical challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. At the start of the Holy Week journey to the foot of the cross, this will be an evening of relaxed conversation and worship and music and a chance to find out a little more about the Cardinal and what inspires and motivates him.
Refreshments will be served after the service.
