Sweet Harmony Celebrates the Genius of Shakespeare


Includes works by Prokofiev and Schubert combined with sonnets and readings

A celebration of Shakespeare’s genius in music, words and art is taking place at St Michael’s Church in Elmwood Road with a proportion of the profits going towards new toilet facilities.

It is multi-genre production from 7 Star Arts (creator of 'Classic Gershwin'), featuring acclaimed musicians Viv McLean (piano) and David le Page (violin), with actress Susan Porrett (RSC/National Theatre)

Music includes works by Prokofiev, Medtner and Schubert combined with sonnets and readings from the plays. In addition original artwork by Klára Smith will feature.

The event takes place on 24 April at 7.30pm.

Tickets £12 in advance or £15 on the door.
