The Park Club lays down New Year challenge


Shed those festive pounds by taking part in 5km fun run

Are you up for a challenge? Do you fancy getting fit for the New Year and at the same time, work off those excess pounds that have accumulated over the Festive Season? Then why not take part in The Park Club’s 5km fun run on 8th January 2006!

Running is the quickest & easiest way to get fit!
Whether you are a serious athlete, amateur runner or just fancy taking part for the fun of it, then this is the perfect challenge for you.
The event will consist of a 5km outdoor run, around The Park Club’s very own running track.


And why not get the whole family involved and take part in the run as a relay? Each family member can choose a distance to complete, ensuring that their combined distances make up to a total of 5km.

This promises not only to be a fun, relaxed event but also a brilliant opportunity to enhance your training and work towards a goal.

Members of all abilities are more than welcome to participate!
