James Oyebola fatally shot after asking three men to stop smoking
The funeral of former British heavyweight champion James Oyebola will take place on Monday 10th September at Chiswick's Our Lady of Grace and St Edward Catholic Church on the High Road at 12.30pm.
The 47 year-old, who was also a Commonwealth Games medallist, was shot in the face at the Chateau 6 in Fulham on July 23 after politely asking three men to stop smoking.
James died four days later after his life support machine was turned off.
Three men were arrested and are on police bail but as yet no charges have been brought.
A benefit night has been arranged by Peter Ellis for September 23. Tickets for the night will be priced at £25 per ticket and all proceeds from Tickets sales will go to James’ Family.
