Dancing for Boobies on Turnham Green

Zumba session to raise awareness of the Galapagos Islands

Booby Zumba is to take place on Turnham Green.

It has been organised by the Galapagos Conservation Trust, a charity who raise funds and awareness for the Galapagos Islands.

On Friday 17 June, they are holding their first ever Blue-footed Booby Zumba class on Turnham Green at 1:30pm, as part of their second annual Blue-footed Booby Day.

The Blue-footed Booby is found in the Galapagos. Anyone lucky enough to spend time with these charasmatic birds can't help but fall for their highly entertaining courtship dance involving the males flaunting their fantastic blue feet to the females.

Zumba is a popular dance-based workout inspired by Latin Dance. All you need to do is bring your blue feet (blue socks, shoes or use the online template) and friends and colleagues with you to join in the fun.
