Downton Abbey's Phyllis Logan to open the event on Staveley Road

If you were a plant then you would be loving this year's weather and fancying your chances on the tables of the Chiswick Horticultural Society's Summer Show this Sunday June 22nd on Staveley Road.

The show will be opened by local actress and Downton Abbey star Phyllis Logan.

Open to everyone, there are 63 classes covering, flowers, fruit, vegetables, domestic, photography and children's imagination. Entry is straightforward, just bring your exhibits to the Trading Hut in Staveley Road on the morning of the show, complete an entry form and stage your exhibit.

The show is open to the public at 2.00 pm with refreshments, tombola and so many skills to admire, it should be a great day for all.
