Milly Forrest and friends to perform a selection of family favourites
Milly Forrest will be appearing at the Chiswick Festival
Chiswick born opera singer Milly Forrest is due to make her first performance since March at the Chiswick House Festival this Sunday (23 August).
At the moment the weather forecast is for a warm evening with little chance of rain to spoil an event which is raising funds for Chiswick House and Gardens Trust.
This past year Milly has made her debut in China with the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, The Cadogan Hall and Ronnie Scott’s Jazz club in London after graduating from the Royal College of Music in July 2019.
In the spring Milly was understudying in the ENO’s production of Le Nozze di Figaro and was due to work as a Garsington Opera young artist this summer until Covid-19 struck.
She is particularly delighted to be making a return to the stage so close to home and will be performing a number of well-known arias.
She will be joined by her friend mezzo soprano Lauren Joyanne Morris who is a recent graduate from the Royal College of Music International Opera Studio.
