Crowds flock to Bedford Park Festival opening
The Bedford Park Festival got off to a busy start this weekend as crowds gathered for Green Days on Acton Green Common. The weather forecast for the weekend was mixed and there was heavy rain early Saturday, but this did not deter the crowds who turned out to see 'Pirates of the Caribbean' star Kevin McNally (below) officially open the festival.

The forecast for Sunday is for sunny warm weather.
At the heart of Green Days was the Bandstand, the focus for live music. A variety of talented acts were due to perform throughout the weekend. See the full line-up here.
The Craft Fair hosted 21 different exhibitors offering a wide selection of high-quality craftworks to buy or commission. See the full stalls list here.
There was lots of fun for children, with the judging of the Fancy Dress competition an annual favourite.
