BEDFORD
PARK FESTIVAL Saturday June 15 to Sunday June 30 2002
Extending over two weeks, the Festival offers something for everyone including art and photography exhibitions, an Indian Feast, architectural walks round the famous Bedford Park conservation area, music to meet all tastes, a children's musical, a film festival , garden visits and, for all the family, a two day open air fete complete with fun-fair, stalls, competitions and children's activities.
Kevin McNally (left), one of the stars of BBC1's Spooks and Channel 4's Shackleton, will officially open this year's festival. The Festival is organised entirely by local people and many of the artists and entertainers offer their services free of charge. All the money raised is ploughed back into the local community. The event is strongly supported by dozens of local businesses, through sponsorship, or the donation of prizes and free meals at local restaurants. Many of the latter will be given away as prizes in the Square Meals Tombola which once again this year is being sponsored by ChiswickW4.com For more details and a full Festival programme, contact the parish office of St Michael & All Angels Church on 020 8994 1380, or visit the Festival Website
