Artists to Hold One Night Only Exhibition at the Barley Mow Centre
Sales of the work of Paul Mulvey and Michael Haran will support two charities

A one-night fundraising art exhibition featuring new work by painters Micheal Haran and Paul Mulvey will take place in Chiswick.
The event is raising money for two charities working locally and internationally and will be held on Tuesday 25 March, from 6pm to 9pm, at the Barley Mow Centre, Barley Mow Passage, W4.
The exhibition will support The Upper Room, a West London charity providing food, support and employment pathways for people experiencing homelessness and social disadvantage, and The Peru Mission in Iquitos, which delivers community, education and welfare projects in one of the most deprived regions of the Peruvian Amazon.
Twenty per cent of all artwork sales will be donated—split equally between the two charities—and GoFundMe pages will be available for visitors who prefer to give directly rather than purchase work.
Micheal Haran, a multi-disciplinary artist trained at the Slade School of Fine Art, works from a studio in Brentford in oil, acrylic and mixed media. His paintings draw on abstracted landscapes, dreamlike figurative scenes and vivid surrealism, influenced by Dreamtime traditions, biomorphic forms, Dada, post-impressionism and futurism. Having lived in Iquitos for two and a half years, Haran has a personal connection to The Peru Mission and is committed to supporting its work. His portfolio can be viewed at www.michealharan.art.
Paul Mulvey, a graphic designer and painter based near Portobello Road, returns to exhibiting after two decades working as an art director in the music festival industry. His work is shaped by the colour and tonality of Derain, Vuillard, Valtat, Monet and Bonnard, and deeply informed by Vincent van Gogh. After visiting the National Gallery’s 2025 Van Gogh exhibition, Mulvey travelled through the south of France to retrace the artist’s steps. His paintings explore memory, perception and the emotional resonance of place.
The evening will offer visitors the chance to meet both artists, view a diverse body of new work and support two charities through art purchases or direct donations. The organisers describe the event as an opportunity to bring together local creativity, community spirit and charitable giving in a relaxed, welcoming setting.
