Alpha Course at Christ Church Turnham Green

New series on Thursday lunchtimes begins

A new Alpha course programme is starting at Christ Church, Turnham Green this week. It takes place on Thursday lunchtimes from 1 – 1.45pm.

There will be a sandwich lunch, short talk looking at a different aspect of the Christian faith and then time for discussion commencing 12 January until 29 March.

If you can’t make the first session it will still be possible to join on 19 or 26 January. There is no charge to attend, just a request for a contribution towards the cost of the food.

The Alpha course is designed primarily for people who aren’t churchgoers but is open to everyone, churchgoer or not.

As a course, Alpha attracts a diverse range of guests of different ages and backgrounds, holding many different viewpoints. Guests do Alpha for a wide variety of reasons - some want to investigate whether God exists; others are concerned about what happens after death. Some people have particular questions that they would like to discuss; others want to understand other peoples' beliefs or would like to explore what the purpose of life is. Many guests have never been to church, others may have attended church occasionally but feel they have never really understood the basics of the Christian faith.

If you would like to attend or have any questions, please contact Christ Church on 020 8995 7381 or jill@cctg.co.uk or just come along on 12 January.
