Chiswick Dog Show Growing In Popularity


The event has attracted even more entries this year

Chiswick House Dog Show is proving to be more popular than ever with entries to classes up 15% and stall holders up 20% for this years show on Sunday, 23rd September.

Actress and dog-lover Jenny Seagrove will open the Show which will be held at its usual venue on the Cricket Pitch this year. Other celebrity judges this year include Janie Dee (Noises off) Judith Owen ('Losing It' show with Ruby Wax).

The show is one of the most popular events locally and last year over 2,500 people attended and 430 dogs were entered in the various classes.

Traditional favourites such as Fancy Dress and Best Young Handler will this year be joined by novelty classes such as Waggiest Tail and My Dog’s Got Talent and the Best Groomed Dog class.

Dogs Trust will also be running a dog crèche throughout the day. The new management team at Southfields Grooming will be sponsoring the official show Programme, and veterinary surgery Acton Lane Vets will again be sponsoring the show rings.
