Rock Night Evening For Charity

Raising funds for Dawn Hastings Foundation

A fundraising Rock Night evening in aid of the The Dawn Hastings Foundation will be held at the Hogarth Health Club on Saturday, 8th December.

The foundation is dedicated to providing complementary and alternative therapies and has been renamed in honour of Chiswick resident Dawn Hastings who died aged 43 last August after battling cervical cancer. The charity has refocused and now provides complimentary & alternative therapies (CAM) for those suffering cancer and other terminal illnesses & their families and friends.

Dawn Hastings worked for The Hogarth Health Club Group since 1989. She was described by friends as "a strong, courageous and heroic woman" who lived with cervical cancer for four years.

"Dawn was a keen supporter of complimentary alternative therapies and benefited hugely from the support offered from this charity (under its former name Changez Charity). She was hugely touched the charity would continue to support others in a similar position and be renamed in her honour. Dawn sadly lost her battle with cancer in August 2012 aged 43, she was and still is an inspiration to all who knew her," said a friend.

The 'Rock Night' line up consists of David Atkins and his band and special guests at The Hogarth Health Club in Airedale Ave on Saturday 8th December 2012 at 7.30pm. Tickets £12 from reception at the Hogarth, or phone 0208 995 4600.
