Chiswick Curtain Shop Announces Closure

After more than eighteen years on the High Road

The Chiswick Curtain Company is to close down after more than eighteen years in business.

The shop, on the corner of the High Road and Merton Avenue will close on December 15.

A notice in the window said that the closure was due to lease expiry and the owner’s “much anticipated retirement”.

They are fully booked and unable to take any more orders. There is currently a sale in the shop which sold curtains, blinds, upholstery, cushions and accessories, and was noted for its striking window displays.

“We’d like to take this opportunity to wish all our customers and clients the very best and thank them for their support over the past eighteen-plus years” said the notice.
