A queue of people formed outside the Tesco Express on Chiswick High Road this Tuesday (17 May) as a competition was launched with tickets to see the tennis at Wimbledon this year as the prize.

Five pairs of Show Court tickets for the 2022 Championships are being offered by Chiswick-based distiller Sipsmith. There is also a chance to win one of 100 Sipsmith Strawberry Smash Spritz Sets.

Strawberry Smash is a London Dry Gin handcrafted with strawberries from the 2021 harvest from Hugh Lowe Farms in Kent, the same place Wimbledon gets its strawberries from. Bottles of the 2022 Championships edition can be bought at an RRP of £28.50.

To enter the competition you need to buy a Sipsmith product in any Tesco store or online at Tesco.com and follow the Text to Win instructions.

The nationwide competition was launched in Chiswick by Sipsmith which is the official Wimbledon Gin Partner for the second year running.

Sipsmith Master Distiller, Jared Brown says, “As the Official Gin Partner of Wimbledon, we are excited for the return of Strawberry Smash Gin 2022 Championships Edition. To celebrate we are giving five very lucky sippers the chance to win a pair of Show Court tickets to this year’s The Championships, Wimbledon.”

The competition will be running until 23 May.
