Dances From Around The World

Strand on the Green Infant & Nursery School pupils put on delightful show

Parents and carers of the smallest of children were BURSTING with pride last week as they watched a series of amazing dances from around the world.

Children as young as 3 years old took to the stage to perform their dances to an audience of over 500 at Strand on the Green Infant and Nursery school.

The event, which has occurred every year for over 30 years, celebrates the end of a week of cooking, learning languages, exploring maps and finding out about the art and culture of a range of countries.

These busy children then had to squeeze in lots of dance practice to make sure they were ready for the day.

Their amazing colourful costumes were matched only by the lively music and glorious sunshine which ensured a very happy day, finished off with food from around the world.
