Sutton Court Road Traffic Disruption This Weekend

Bus and traffic diversions for southbound traffic

Expect heavy traffic in Chiswick over the weekend due to the closure of Sutton Court Road due to a utility company digging up the road.

It will be closed to southbound traffic from Barrowgate Road to the A4 (Cedars Road/Ellesmere Road) from 9.0am Saturday 23 February to 5.30pm Sunday 24 February.

Contractors Optimise on behalf of Thames Water will be working at the above location to make a water connection to a new building. Due to the location of the water main it will be necessary to close Sutton Court Road (in a southbound direction only).

London Buses will be diverted as follows;

Routes 272 towards Grove Park and E3 towards Edensor Road.

From Heathfield Terrace junction of Sutton Court Road, ahead on Heathfield Terrace, left into Heathfield Gardens, ahead into Sutton Lane North, left onto A4 Cedars Road, ahead on A4 Ellesmere Road (eastbound), circumnavigate Hogarth Roundabout, ahead on A4 Ellesmere Road (westbound), left into Sutton Court Road to line of route.

Other southbound traffic on Sutton Court Road will turn left or right into Barrowgate Road and access the A4 (eastbound) via Dukes Avenue or Sutton Lane North.

Northbound traffic will be unaffected.
