Another planning application (P/2022/2425) has been submitted to Hounslow Council to make changes to the building a 2 Grove Park Road which currently houses the Old Station House pub.

Approval has already been given to a plan which would see the pub area retained as is and four flats built at the site.

The new design would contain six flats, two one bed and four two bed flats, and there would be a balcony at the front of the building on the first floor.

The massing of the building would increase with the extension of the section three storeys high but the maximum height remains the same.

The plan has been produced by T2S Architecture Ltd on behalf of Associate Properties which is understood to own the freehold of the building.

The pub reopened a few months ago after a period of uncertainty due to lockdown and an earlier plan to reduce the size of the pub space by 42%

The building opened at the Grove Park Hotel in 1867 serving visitors to the Thames on the newly opened railway line. It became the Old Station House in 2008 and is currently operated by the Punch Taverns group.
