Kew House School Plans To Expand
Seeking permission for four-storey sixth form building
The Kew House secondary school, which is based at Capital Exchange (close to Brentford Leisure Centre), by Kew Bridge, is planning to expand with a new Sixth Form building.
The co-educational school has lodged a planning application with Hounslow Council to build a four-storey centre for Sixth Form on its existing basketball court.

Kew House School, which is owned by London Preparatory Schools Ltd (LPS), opened in September 2013 and currently has 282 pupils in years seven to 11.
It has a capacity for 450 but the introduction of a Sixth Form would take that to 600. They hope to open the new building in 2017 if all goes ahead as planned.
The current Sixth Form Centre (currently unoccupied) has a capacity for eighty pupils.
The new plan would mean a reduction on onsite car-park space, and would also mean relocating the basketball court.
LPS also run Ravenscourt Park Prep and Kew House Prep Schools.
