Grey/blue shorthair cat had gone missing from near Chiswick Park station

The owner of a grey/blue British shorthair cat is breathing a sigh of relief after Saffron returned home safe.

She normally does not stray far from her home in Fairlawn Grove but disappeared earlier this week.

Attempts to trace her by searching the area proved fruitless.

It is thought she may have become trapped somewhere but she eventually turned up wet, scared and hungry this Thursday to the delight of owner Zoe.
