An appeal has been issued by the police for the public’s assistance in locating a man who has not been seen since Sunday evening (23 February).

The last sighting of Damon Rawnsley was when he left his boat at Chiswick Pier.

It is believed that he may may be wearing a dark brown fleece jacket with dark green chinos.

Friends of Damon fear that he might have fallen into the river when collecting coal at around 10pm when the weather was very windy.

His girlfriend raised the alarm and the RNLI Lifeboat was launched from the station nearby within an hour of his disappearance. The river police joined the search which continued the following morning.

If you have information that would assist the search you are asked to call 101 with any information quoting ref 01/7196663/25.
