Pursued vehicle crashes into lamp post near Southfield Road
Police have arrested two suspects following a chase in the early hours of this morning ( Friday, March 28).
The chase ended in Saltcoats Road, near Southfield Road at around 4.30 am when the car being pursued collided with a lamp post and two parked cars.
The car was being chased by police from Hammersmith & Fulham who had earlier attempted to stop the vehicle in Fulham Palace Road.
"At 04.29hrs the vehicle collided with a lamppost and two parked cars in Saltcoats Road, W4.
"Two suspects decamped from the vehicle and were arrested near by on suspicion of burglary".
Police believe the vehicle had been reported stolen on 22 March at an address in Rosaville Road, SW6."
Enquiries are continuing.
