Chiswick customers paying twice to top up their meters
Hounslow Police have received reports that bogus energy company representatives are offering to top up the householders meter with £50 of credit for £25.
The energy companies are able to determine that credit has been added to the meter but they haven't received payment for it so bill the customer which means the customer pays twice.
