Victim threatened with large knife as he waited for tube
A 23 year old man was threatened with a large knife as he waited for his tube home.
The incident happened on Saturday 29th December at around 23.15 as the man stood on the platform at Gunnersbury Station.
After he had been waiting for five minutes, three suspects appeared and began talking to the victim.
They began asking the victim for money but then said it was a joke. However, one suspect grabbed hold of the victim’s arm and took out a large knife from his trouser pocket and said that he was not joking.
The victim ran up stairs inside the tube station chased by the suspects but managed to escape.
The victim thought the suspects may have run off along Chiswick High Road.
He described the first suspect as being a black male aged 27 years, 5’9” wearing a long sleeved green top, jeans and short black hair.
The second suspect was a black male aged 20 years, 5’9” wearing jeans, a black 'North Face' jacket and had short black hair.
The third suspect was a black male, aged 30 years, 5’9, with short black hair.
