Suspected Shoplifter Nabbed on Chiswick High Road

A suspect shoplifter was detained by members of the public this Friday afternoon (26 July) on Chiswick High Road.

The man was held to the ground in near the Robert Dyas hardware store reportedly by staff from a mobile phone shop. He was held there until two police cars arrived.

The offices then handcuffed the man and took him away.

Police confirmed that the offence the man was detained for was shoplifting.
