Police Investigating Incident At Lisa Armstrong's Home

Woman appears to be opening celebrity make up artist's parcel delivery

Police have said they are investigating a report an incident outside the home of Lisa Armstrong, ex-wife of Anthony McPartlin. This follows the celebrity make up artist tweeting a picture taken from CCTV at her home, of a woman acting suspiciously outside her gated property in Chiswick.

The CCTV picture shows the woman reaching through the gate where a parcel had been left, which had been delivered while Lisa was not at home. The woman appears to be breaking open the box and rifling through it.

Lisa tweeted: "To the lady who decided to steal my #whitecompanydelivery just to let you know your on camera love!!!” adding the hashtag: “#karmasab****.”

One of of her followers responded; “That’s rubbish!!! Never mind, it’s only things and hopefully can be replaced no problem.”

To which Lisa responded: “I know hun but that’s not the point… Not hers just to take!!!”

A police spokesperson said: We are aware of the incident and will be conducting enquiries. Anyone with any information please call 101 quoting reference CHS 20190508052783.

The OWL neighbourhood crime watch service has recently warned people about the dangers of having delivered parcels left outside their door, following an upsurge in theft of parcels. They have warned that one particular individual is prolific in the Acton area and Southfields.
