Victim left with head wound after moped robber strikes

A woman in her sixties was injured during a robbery on Wellesley Road, Chiswick this Sunday evening (7 April).

The victim had her handbag snatched by a person on a moped at around 5.50pm. Paramedics told the police that she had been in a collision and eyewitnesses reported that she was bleeding profusely from a head wound.

Police say that her injuries are not life threating.

Enquiries are ongoing by officers from the West Area Command Unit.
