Local Chess club on recruitment drive

West London Chess Club seeks new members

The West London Chess Club was founded in 1892 and caters for players of all types and abilities. Members can play competitive games for our first teams in the Middlesex and London Leagues.

They also have a second team for players who would like an introduction to competitive chess. You can play friendly or 'blitz' games every Wednesday and a number of internal club tournaments are organised.

The club has had its ups and downs over the years and relies on a critical mass of players to keep it going.

The Junior Club is normally on Saturday mornings at the Town Hall.
